Project specific containment systems for critical works

Every SESA system is scoped around the structure, the work happening inside the enclosure, the exposure it will face and the program it has to support. The six areas below cover the work SESA takes on.

Service 01

Scaffold encapsulation

Installation of shrink wrap containment systems over suitable scaffold structures. The film is heat welded, sealed and tensioned to the scaffold to form a controlled work area for the trades operating behind it.

Scope boundary. The scaffold itself is generally supplied, designed and installed by the client or a qualified scaffolding contractor. SESA installs the containment system to that structure and is not a scaffolding company.

Service 02

Weather protection and temporary enclosures

Shrink wrap weather protection systems designed to reduce exposure to rain, wind, UV, dust, moisture and general environmental conditions so work can continue in conditions that would otherwise stop it.

An honest limit. No enclosure eliminates weather risk entirely. These systems are designed to reduce exposure and support continuity, and the level of protection achievable depends on the structure, the scaffold, the exposure and how the enclosure is scoped.

Service 03

Hazardous work containment

SESA provides containment systems for blasting, coating, remediation and other controlled activities. We work alongside the project's specialist contractors to establish enclosed work zones and improve separation from surrounding areas.

What SESA does and does not do. SESA supplies and installs the containment system. SESA does not perform lead removal, asbestos removal, abrasive blasting, industrial painting, hazardous material remediation, environmental testing, occupational hygiene services or clearance inspections. Those activities are carried out by the project's licensed specialist contractors.
Compliance. A SESA enclosure on its own does not guarantee regulatory or environmental compliance. Final containment requirements remain dependent on the project design, scaffold structure, work method, contaminants, ventilation requirements, environmental controls and client specifications.

Asset, plant and equipment protection

Temporary shrink wrap protection installed around plant, machinery, structural components and materials that need to be kept clean, dry and separated from surrounding work.

Scope boundary. SESA does not provide specialist corrosion engineering or guaranteed long term preservation. Where a project has defined preservation requirements, they should be confirmed for that project before work is agreed.

Temporary industrial protection systems

Project specific temporary shrink wrap structures formed using suitable existing frameworks, scaffold or structural interfaces, for works that need an enclosed environment for a defined period.

What SESA will not claim. SESA does not describe its systems as cyclone proof, storm proof, wind rated, airtight, dustproof or waterproof in every condition, and does not provide structural engineering or certify environmental compliance. Any wind loading, structural or engineering requirement must be assessed for the specific project and may require input from the scaffold designer, principal contractor, engineer or another suitably qualified party.
