Where this work has been done before

The experience below is Hadyn Lugosi's relevant project experience in encapsulation and containment, gained across construction, rail, bridge, water, industrial, port and controlled site environments. It is presented as founder experience rather than as contracts held by SESA.

How to read this page. SESA was established by Hadyn Lugosi and is currently owner operated. The projects described here are environments in which Hadyn has personally delivered encapsulation and containment work, through previous employment or other arrangements, rather than contracts awarded to SESA. That distinction is stated plainly because procurement teams are entitled to an accurate picture.
Founder experience 01

Large scale building encapsulation, Canberra

Relevant experience includes large scale building encapsulation on a school development, intended to protect works from severe weather and reduce lost productivity on an exposed structure.

The enclosure was formed over perimeter scaffold across the full building footprint, sealed and tensioned so that trades inside could continue through conditions that would otherwise have stopped work on an open frame.

Founder experience 02

Peats Ferry Bridge, New South Wales

Relevant experience includes containment on the Peats Ferry Bridge, the 1945 steel truss bridge carrying the Pacific Highway over the Hawkesbury River between Kangaroo Point and Mooney Mooney Point.

The work involved containment associated with lead based paint, abrasive blasting and coating activities on live bridge infrastructure over a waterway, where separation from the surrounding environment was a central requirement and the bridge remained open to traffic.

Founder experience 03

Surrey Hills Rail Upgrade, Victoria

Relevant experience includes vertical shaft encapsulation and weather protection of exposed rail infrastructure works within a major rail upgrade environment.

Lift shafts were wrapped from ground level to the top of the structure, forming a sealed vertical enclosure that protected the works inside and separated them from the surrounding site.

Founder experience 04

High bay internal work zone, Victoria

Relevant experience includes internal containment within a high bay structural environment, coordinated around active construction work in the surrounding area.

Containment panels were installed to the open upper elevations of the structure, closing the building envelope so that internal work could proceed while the facade remained incomplete.

Founder experience 05

Water treatment facility, Queensland

Relevant experience includes containment and encapsulation works at a water treatment facility in Queensland, engaged to complete works on site.

The work involved temporary protection of plant and pipework within an operating water treatment environment, where the enclosure had to be formed around existing services and access maintained for the facility's own operations.

Across these environments the work has consistently involved hazardous work containment, weather sensitive programs and live sites where other trades and operations continue around the enclosure.

A note on what is not shown

Some work does not belong on a website

Three of the projects above carry no photographs. That is deliberate. Defence and port environments impose access, security and confidentiality requirements that do not lapse when the job finishes, and a contractor who publishes that material anyway is telling you exactly how they will treat your site.

The fourth omission is different. On the Queensland water treatment works the available images show a partially completed installation that does not represent SESA's standard, so they are not used to sell the business.
